    Building Peppermint

Full-time, all-in. A private AI memory of your work that follows you from tool to tool — currently expanding from a personal assistant into something whole teams use. Just wrapped: Running Remote 2026

Ninth year, back in Austin, April 27–29. Fifty-plus speakers including leaders from Zapier, Cloudflare, HubSpot, Yelp, and Doist. I moderated, emceed, and pointed at the synchronization tax more times than was strictly necessary.

    Starting a newsletter

It's called The Synchronization Tax — remote work, AI agents, and real benchmark data, sent occasionally. If I cite a number, there's a source. If there's no benchmark, I'll say so.

Montréal for the summer, with a stop in Istanbul in late July. The snails stay home; they prefer async travel updates anyway.
